Workfile - Attachments Tab

The Attachment feature allows you to attach images and other documents to an open or closed workfile. Some of the supported attachment types include jpg, tiff, bmp, doc and pdf. This feature also allows you to enter comments on documents and images. Images can be selected and sent to an to an insurance company. This feature is enabled for workfiles that are sent to an insurance company (e.g., insurance company assignment).

When attaching images to a workfile, you must enter any note or description related to the image in the Notes field located in the bottom of the screen in the Attachments tab. Insurers will only see notes entered in this field and not the image labels that can be changed directly under each image. Please use this process to document all image attachments.

Mouse over an image to view a larger image on your screen. Double-clicking the image opens the image in a new screen in order to access the image adjustment controls and navigation buttons.

Attachment images can be tagged Send to Insurance Now. This feature allows you to add and send images to an insurance company without creating a supplement. Attachments can be added regardless of the workfile status (e.g., locked estimate and closed workfile).

Attachment multi-select has been added for Send to Insurance and Show photo to customer options.
